Our History

A Foundation Built on Vision and Craftsmanship

Since 1980, NY&P – Engineering & Consulting has built a legacy of architectural and structural excellence. Founded by an Architect driven by vision and resilience, the original family firm delivered more than 200,000 m² of projects over four decades, combining creativity, precision, and execution.

From residential villas to public landmarks, this multidisciplinary practice mastered every stage of the process: design, technical studies, shop drawings, and site execution. This heritage of integrated design & build expertise remains the backbone of NY&P’s philosophy today.

Louis Vuitton- Paris- France 

Client: Louis Vuitton · Stage: Concept Design to execution · Role: Lead Structural Engineer via Setec

Project Scope: Prestigious High-end real estate complex (22,000 m²) integrating a flagship store, hotel, spa, restaurant, and museum

Involvement: Served as a key member of the structural engineering team throughout all design phases of this iconic luxury redevelopment. Contributed directly to the transformation of a historic building, including the addition of three new basement levels and major interventions on the superstructure. Led coordination efforts with architectural and heritage stakeholders, navigated complex construction phasing in a densely built environment, and ensured structural feasibility aligned with the brand’s uncompromising standards of excellence.

Legacy Projects- Lebanon

Client: Private & Public Sector· Stage: Full scope- Design to execution · Role: Lead Architect & Engineer

Project Scope: Multidisciplinary design and execution of more than 200,000 m² of residential, cultural, commercial, and public infrastructure across Lebanon from the 1980s through early 2020s.

Involvement: Led a fully integrated architectural and engineering practice, delivering complete technical and site services for a wide range of project types. Projects included cultural landmarks like the Saint Elie Church and Theater, civic institutions such as the Red Cross Center, and over 40 high-end villas. The firm also delivered 8 commercial centers, as well as a public heritage garden in Batroun. Responsibilities spanned full architectural design, structural and MEP studies, shop drawings, and site supervision — ensuring technical quality, cost control, and architectural coherence from concept to completion.

Velana International Airport- Maldives

Client: Maldives Airports Company Limited · Stage: Concept Design to execution · Role: Lead Structural Engineer via Setec

Project Scope: 80,000 m² terminal building spanning 500 meters across three levels

Involvement: Acted as a core structural team member on the Maldives’ flagship airport expansion. Oversaw critical design and construction coordination, including late-stage integration of a complex architectural façade. Delivered structural solutions under challenging political, technical, and logistical conditions, ensuring seamless execution without impacting the program timeline.

Qiddiya- KSA

Client: Qiddiya Investment Company (Public Investment Fund) · Stage: Concept through Construction Phase Oversight  · Role: Senior Structural Engineer via Jacobs

Project Scope: A 376 km² giga‑project comprising sports facilities, theme parks (including Six Flags and Aquarabia), F1-style race track, resorts, cultural venues, and more, aimed at becoming a global entertainment capital under Saudi Vision 2030

Involvement: Serving as Senior Structural Engineer representing the client within the project management team. Oversaw structural design reviews and technical coordination across multiple development packages. Responsibilities included ensuring compliance with international codes, optimizing structural systems, and resolving interdisciplinary challenges throughout key phases of this large-scale, architecturally complex program.

King Salman Park- Riyadh- KSA

Client: Royal Commission for Riyadh City · Stage: Concept Design to IFC · Role: Lead Structural Engineer via Setec

Project Scope: 145,000 m² urban park transformation project

InvolvementParticipated as part of the design team within a joint venture.

Developed structural designs for three landmark elements within one of the world’s largest urban parks: a large-scale amphitheater, a dome-shaped café, and an open-air cinema featuring extensive cantilevered walls. Delivered as part of a multidisciplinary joint venture (Setec, Buro Happold, Gerber), the work included early-phase development through to detailed design for complex geometries, long spans, and expressive architectural forms.

ATP Museum- LVMH- Paris - France

Client: LVMH · Stage: Concept Design to IFC · Role: Lead Structural Engineer via Setec

Project Scope: 14,000 m² museum renovation & expansion

InvolvementParticipated as part of the structural design team Transformation of a former museum into a contemporary cultural landmark under the architectural direction of Frank Gehry. The project involved the restructuring of an existing tower, the addition of three underground levels, and significant mid-construction design modifications driven by evolving client requirements. Structural design had to be rapidly adapted to accommodate additional floors and program changes without interrupting ongoing site works.            

United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)

Certified Peer Reviewer for the UNOPS, providing technical review and independent verification of structural design packages for various UNOPS-funded infrastructure projects. These included schools, clinics, and municipal buildings developed in fragile or post-conflict contexts across Africa and the Middle East.

The role involved reviewing consultant submissions for compliance with international codes and UNOPS technical standards, assessing structural feasibility and safety, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables were fit for construction in low-resource environments.
